first_imgIn a fresh offer of surrender to local militants, Kashmir Inspector General of Police Muneer Khan on Monday said surrenders would be accepted even during gun battles.“If local militants offer surrender in the middle of ongoing encounter with the security forces, we are ready to accept such surrenders,” said Mr. Khan.Flanked by officials from the CRPF and the Army, Mr. Khan told the media, “We again appeal to local militants to surrender and start living a normal life.
